About me

I am a fully qualified, registered psychodynamic child and adolescent counsellor and psychotherapist. I trained at postgraduate level at Birkbeck College, University of London, and I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have experience of working with children, adolescents, parents and adults in the education sector, the voluntary sector and in association with the NHS. My training is psychodynamic, and I am therefore skilled to help the child to think about what might be going on in their internal world, and of ways in which this affects how they feel about themselves and about those around them.
My services include:
  • Counselling/psychotherapy with children, adolescents and young people up to the age of 25.
  • Parent & child sessions for parents and children aged 0--5.
  • Parent/carer sessions to provide support through the challenging aspects of parenting.
I strongly believe in the importance of providing professional support to children, adolescents and parents at a time when they need it.
I offer a safe and confidential space where each client can begin to get in touch with their experiences. My approach is one of meeting each person where they are and providing a space for them to bring up what matters to them in each session.
I have experience working with clients from diverse ethnic backgrounds, and I have undergone training on working with difference and diversity. I am bilingual in English and Spanish.
